Moffat is historic former spa town nestled in the Southern Uplands of Dumfries and Galloway, and is home to around 2,500 residents. Set upon the River Annan, it's known for its broad, tree line High Street and Georgian and Victorian architecture. The iconic ram statue is an echo of its wool-trading past, with the sulphorus spa that made the town famous, no longer opertational.
